Fox Families,

This first month of school has been such an amazing start to our year. We have had so many fun events already. We kicked off our school year with our very first ever kindergarten clap in. I don't think there were very many dry eyes in the building! This will definitely be a new tradition for us! We have had our annual field day, donuts with dear ones, and an incredibly fun back to school assembly. Our teachers were amazing and were highly entertaining for our students! I hope your kids told you all about their dance technique!

We are currently preparing for a very busy September! Next week we are ready for Bugs and Bees activities in the school garden that our PTO has coordinated and helped to create for all of our kids. We are also preparing for our annual school fun run.

And lastly, it been so much fun to be in the classrooms and to see what our students are learning in their classrooms. I am blown away by the activities our teachers are creating and working on. I am so excited about all the connections we have made and will continue to make.

Thank you for letting us love on your kids! We enjoy all they bring to us every day.

VISION AND HEARING SCREENINGS

We will be having vision and hearing screenings on the following dates:

9/22/2022: vision screenings for preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade

11/1/2022: vision screenings for 2nd, 3rd, 4th (if new to the district or have an IEP) and 5th

11/2/2022: hearing screenings for 2nd, 3rd, 4th (if new to the district or have an IEP) and 5th

You will be notified if there are any concerns with your child’s hearing or vision.

KINDERGARTEN and 1st GRADE PARENTS

Please send in a change of clothes in your child’s backpack. This is so nice to have for “just in case” should they have an accident at school. **If your child has had an accident at school and is given clinic clothing, please wash them (shirts, shorts, pants) and return them as soon as you are able.**

Hey parents! We would love to have some additional support at lunch and recess for our students to get situated. This is your chance to hang out with your kiddos. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Make sure you come to the office to check in, if you've never checked in before please bring your ID. Thank you!

We are looking for volunteers to help check in books and re-shelve them daily. Please sign up for a time that works for you! Be sure to check in at the office and if it is your first time, be sure to watch the video before you head to the library.

Last year we dismissed all elementary schools one hour earlier (1:45PM) every Wednesday to enhance our elementary teachers' professional development and training opportunities. We had such success with this time we will be continuing this again this school year. In addition, for families who participate in after-school childcare, the after-school program will be extended every Wednesday at no additional cost. For families who need care, you can register with our school's program. See Section "Before and After School Care" for additional information.

Our Before and After School Care program ("Discovery Club") runs before school between 6:30-8:00AM and after school between 2:45–6:00PM (1:45–6:00PM on Wednesdays). Please call 720-886-8761 for more information.

The USDA has ended the funding for FREE school meals. We will provide breakfast in the cafeteria for students to purchase starting at 7:40 am daily.

The Titan Family Portal is a secure, online system that allows parents to:

• Make an online payment to their children's cafeteria meal accounts
• Remotely monitor their children's accounts
• Set up automatic recurring payments
• Set up low balance e-mail message alerts
• Submit an online application for free and/or reduced meals
