Connecting to College for Student Success

MSU and high school language arts and mathematics faculty are invited to attend this one-day workshop to discuss progress toward successful implementation and assessment of Common Core Standards

Sponsored by Senate Bill 1 and Murray State University


Dr. Terry Holliday, Commissioner of KDE will be guest speaker


Tuesday, July 23rd from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Third floor of the Curris Center

Registration begins at 8:30--coffee and pastries will be served

Each participant will receive a $500 stipend and lunch will be provided. High school faculty may also earn Professional Development credit for this session. Space is limited--reserve your seat now!

The workshop is offered on a first-come first-served basis and is open to the following groups:

  • first 12 MSU mathematics faculty
  • first 12 high school mathematics faculty
  • first 12 MSU language arts faculty
  • first 12 high school language arts faculty
