Wauwatosa Montessori School

September 20, 2019

Greetings!

  • Parent Education - In less than 5 minutes, listen to a topic each week to help parents better understand the various elements of school! This week, our topic is READING. All videos can be accessed at any time.
  • After School - A reminder that the school building is locked both before, during and after school and you can only come back in after school if you are picking up a student at after care or have a meeting with a teacher or staff member.

  • Montessori Micro Marathon- The week of September 30, WMS students will be participating in the Montessori Micro-Marathon. Students will be able to walk, jog, or run the Breitlow Field warning track (outfield perimeter) during their regularly-scheduled gym classes. This fun run is one of the children's favorite events during the year. This year the kids will have 30 minutes to run laps around the roughly 350-meter course as many times as possible (just under a quarter mile). Afterwards they will be treated with a popsicle, a student favorite! See your child's Friday folder for pledge information!
  • WMS Service Society - Our first event will be Sept. 23@ Kathy’s House-Help prepare and serve a meal at our local hospital guest house. We have room for 1 more AP student! All families can help by signing up to donate ingredients for the meal! Thank you in advance for your support☺ Please see sign up here://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050C4FA4AE2DAA8-kathys
