Hilliard Horizon and Alton-Darby Creek Elementary schools have been selected by the Columbus Museum of Art and the Imagination Foundation as a site to host a COMMUNITY CARDBOARD CHALLENGE on OCTOBER 10TH from 9:00am-12:00pm.
This event will be held at Heritage Middle School. The following communities to participate: Horizon, Alton Darby, Darby Creek, Scioto Darby, JW Reason, Ridgewood, Crossing, Britton, and Beacon Elementary Schools.

In this video you will see a little boy who through his imagination and creativity created an entire arcade out of cardboard.
Our Community Cardboard Challenge is not necessarily promoting the creation of arcades...but the creation of ANYTHING during this event from 9:00-12:00 on October 10th. The purpose of this event to is celebrate and embrace CREATIVITY, COLLABORATION, and COMMUNICATION within the community. We do hope you will be able to join us for this fantastic event!
Please consider volunteering! We'd love to have some help from Middle School & High School students! http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080548ada829a46-cardboard

The bookfair will take place 10/5-10/9 during Conference Week and we need many daytime volunteers to make this a success.
We are looking for people that are willing to help kids make their wish lists, some to man the registers, and a few to help with setting up, tearing down, and directing traffic. Sign up for slots that best fit your schedule by following the link below.
Box Top Challenge!
You can send box tops to school with your kids at any time, the teacher will collect them, and will turn them in as a class on October 15th.
