It is December!
It is hard to believe, but it is officially December! December is a very busy month for us because there is just so much going on. Our big activity is the elf on the shelf. We will be introducing an elf and he will stay with us throughout the month of December. The main idea of the elf is to take notes on students' behavior to report back to Santa. Students will be creating an elf adventure log to track every the elf has been.
Also, we will be doing elfing this year. We are asking that all students bring in a gift for everyone in the class on the day of our Christmas party. We do not want you to spend a lot of money on these gifts. There are plenty of gifts at the dollar store that students will love.
Last, but not least, our Christmas party will be on December 17th at 12:00 pm. We are asking all parents to bring some type of dessert or snack! Please don't forget to bring your elf gift to the Christmas party.
My Elf Adventure Log
We have finally met our elf, Olaf! Olaf is so excited to be in our classroom and to be able to report back to Santa to let him know how wonderful all of our students are. We will be keeping an elf adventure log so students can write about everything Olaf has done so far!
You've Been Elf'd!
This year, we have decided to do an elfing Christmas. When it says you have been elf'd it means you have to buy a gift for someone else. We are asking that students bring a small gift for everyone in their class room. Please do not spend a lot of money on this, there are plenty of gift ideas at the Dollar Store!
Everyone meet Olaf! Olaf is going to spend the month of December with us! He will be watching students and taking notes on their behavior. At night Olaf will fly back to the north pole and report what he has discovered to Santa! Remind your children to be on their best behavior because Olaf is watching!
