WELCOME TO THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR!
I am so excited to start the 2021-22 school year, welcoming your child to Mustang Nation! It has been an amazing week with staff preparing for the first week of school and beyond. I want to let you know your child is in good hands while here at Maple Grove Middle School. The energy, passion, and excitement I witnessed over the past week with staff was just a glimpse of what your child will get to experience this year. I am committed to providing the most positive, challenging, and supportive learning environment for your child each and every day. I am looking forward to partnering with you to support your child’s life here at MGMS and can’t thank you enough for all you do as parents and for entrusting your child with us.

DROPPING OFF OR PICKING UP
Since many families drop off or pick up their child from MGMS, we want to let you know the procedure. Families that drive their child will pick up and drop off at door 2 by the community ed gym doors. Please see the map below. You are not able to turn left from N Eagle Lake Blvd into the lot as the line backs up all the way to Hemlock Lane, blocking the intersection. You are only able to turn right into the lot. When you arrive, if the line is already at the entrance of the lot, please line up on the shoulder of the Westbound lane on N Eagle Lake Blvd to avoid having to turn around.
Thank you.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INCOMING 7TH GRADE PARENTS
Dear 7th Grade Parents,
This is a reminder to have your student get their 7th grade shots. Per Minnesota Immunization Law, one dose of Tdap is required beginning at 7th grade. If a child received Tdap prior to 7th grade, another dose of Tdap is not needed. One meningococcal dose is also required at the beginning of 7th grade. The booster dose is usually given at 16 years.
