JOIN THE WABASSO SAC TEAM
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing various segments of the community–parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/ industry people and other interested community members. The purpose of a SAC is to assist in the preparation and evaluation (developing and evaluating) of the results of the school improvement plan and to provide meaningful input into our school focus.

Wabasso School Procedures
Attendance
Attendance is crucial to student success. If a student is absent from school, please call attendance at 772-978-8000. Excused absences will be limited to illness, medical, family emergencies, or established religious holidays. Absences other than those listed or not called in will be considered unexcused. Our attendance officer will follow-up on excessive absences, excused or unexcused.
Bell Schedule
Start: 8:25, Tardy: 8:30, Dismissal: 2:45
* Please do not drop off prior to 8:00 am to ensure proper supervision of all students.

About Us
Wabasso School - meeting the unique needs of all students!
Wabasso School is a special education center school serving students ages 5-22. To meet the unique needs of our students, we offer four program models: intensive, integrated, behavioral and a transition program. Our dedicated staff provides instruction that positively impacts student achievement, communication skills, social, emotional and behavioral growth. Within a safe and supportive learning environment children develop their academic and independent living skills to meet post-secondary goals and successful community integration.
