Brookfield Ice Harvest and Mid-Winter-Fest

The Brookfield Ice Harvest and Mid-Winter-Fest will be held on January 28th from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, at the Brookfield Floating Bridge and Hippo Park, located at 2200 Rt. 65, in Brookfield. The event includes a demonstration of ice harvest tools and techniques from the 19th and early 20th century, together with the opportunity to cut an ice block yourself! Sledding, skating, broomball and a wacky new game called biceball will also be available, conditions permitting, of course, in this climate-crazy world we are living in! This is a FREE, outdoor, Covid-safe event for the whole family, so dress warmly and come to Brookfield for some good old-fashioned fun! For more info contact Jon at binhammerjon@gmail.com or 802-276-3260.
