This Week's Journey-1 John Chapters 3-6

This past week at Journey we continued to walk through 1 John where we learned about false prophets and teachers. This week we will continue down that path. Please remember to take some time each day to read God's Word. You can follow along by reading the chapters listed above and be ready with any questions you might have regarding these chapters. It is an exciting time at Journey as we delve into God's Word together with purpose!

Back to Jesus

The past couple of weeks at Journey have been amazing. God is moving through His Word and people are challenging themselves to question how American culture has influenced the Church. But we know that the only answer to true revival in the Church is to make disciples. If you are free on Friday night, you and your family are urged to take some time out of your schedules to stream the Verge conference into your own private living room. All you need is a web connection and you can hear from some of the most renowned Christian leaders of this century as they help us to wake up to the call to go back to the basics.

Francis Chan - How Not To Make Disciples

VBS Fundraiser Is Under Way! 50% of all Profits Go To Children's Ministry

Don't forget that for the next few weeks we will be selling flower bulbs to support one of Journey's BIGGEST outreaches to the community; Vacation Bible School. This is always an amazing time as children around Newton County are pointed to their Savior and an easy way to get it off to a great start is to ask a few friends and family members to purchase these bulbs to plant in their gardens. A whopping 50 percent goes to Journey's Children's Ministry!

Check out the link below for more info...but be sure to order through us so we can receive half of the profit.
