THE BIG APPLE, THE SMALL DROID.
One on One.
THE iTUNES APP STORE CONTAINS 800,000 APPS (and growing). WHILE GOOGLE PLAY CONTAINS 700,000 APPS AND GROWING.
Expense!
The iTunes App Store contains pricy apps. Well, so does the Google Play. But when it comes to who makes the user pay more? Defintley Apple. While famous apps like Angry Birds on the Apple App Store cost a cheap and average $0.99, on Google Play, it's free! The downside though, is the many ads that come with it.
Availiability!
Google Play
Cheaper. But not so good for a screenwriting app.
Apple App Store
Costs more. But a very good mobile and on the go screenwriting app.
Windows App Store
No such thing.
Delevoping and submiting an app for both of these store differ. There is no cost to submit an app to Apple in the Apple App Store. Although, there is an annual $99 developer registration fee. As for Google play, it cost $25 upfront.
Both Stores Are Easy To Tccess!
You can reach both stores through tablets, web browsers, and through portable devices. They both look different, and all focus on the same areas of entertainment. Having both softwares, I can say that the iTunes Store of iOS 6.1 is a little buggy, but easy to use. Google play is also easy to navigate. It rarely crashes on me. In fact, I'm not sure it ever has.
OVERALL
I enjoy both stores. They both somewhat offer the same material. Note that most apps I made for the Apple App Store first, then carried over to Google play. This causes with app crashes and just causes some apps to look strange. But in the end of course, what's best for you, is up to you.
