Safety First!
We've had a report of students running across Carla in the mornings without using the crosswalk/or crossing at an intersection. Although this area is a posted school zone, we can't guarantee that motorists are heeding the reduced speed limit. If your child walks to school, PLEASE emphasize the need to use crosswalks or to cross the street at intersections marked with stop signs.
Mask Reminder

Re: Wearing Face Coverings during COVID-19
In order to comply with the Governor’s order and to keep everyone safe, students must arrive on site each day with a face covering in place (pg. 22 of the Reopening School Instructional Guidebook). The handbook is updated as official guidelines and orders change from local, state and federal authorities.
It is important that your child has a face covering that is designed to fit them properly. While each campus has a limited supply of disposable masks, the best defense is using a mask that fits snugly against your child’s face.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website has excellent information regarding the wearing of masks.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions. Take care of yourself and stay safe.

We want to hear from you!
Dear Parent,
Each year the schools ask parents to provide feedback about our school and opportunities for families to support education. This feedback helps us identify our strengths and areas for improvement. Please respond to each statement on this survey by placing one check mark under the category that best describes how you feel about opportunities for family engagement at Rowlett Elementary.
Estimados padres,
