Valentine’s Day Celebration

We will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 12th at Davis. Students may bring in Valentine’s to share with the class, but we ask that you send those Valentines to school NO LATER than February 9th so they have some time to safely sit before students open them on the 12th. Valentine’s can be accompanied with a small trinket, but NO food/candy can be accepted or passed out. We appreciate your understanding. Look for more information from your child’s classroom teacher in their weekly newsletters.

Virtual Author Visit

We are excited that our first graders will be visiting with nonfiction children's author Melissa Stewart on Tuesday! Our first graders have been hard at work writing their own animal reports and can’t wait to hear from Ms. Stewart and learn from her. She will be zooming in to share her books, writing process, and answer the questions of our budding authors. To learn more about Ms. Stewart and her books visit https://www.melissa-stewart.com/. We would like to thank the PTO for making this possible!!!

Looking for Photos

Did you have some fun during our remote learning/snow day on Tuesday? We are looking for pictures with indoor and outdoor fun, if you are willing to share send them our way!

We are also looking for some adaptive pause photos moments. We’d love to have you share some pictures with us that we could use for our yearbook to document this unique year. Please send your pictures to shannon.drew@d303.org.

Revised 20/21 Calendar

This calendar reflects the removal of the March 25 Elementary Parent/Teacher Conferences.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRANSFERS - REQUEST PERIOD OPEN FROM FEB. 1 - FEB. 26

Families who wish to submit a Middle School Transfer request may do so beginning February 1, 2021. Families must complete a separate form for each student they want to be transferred. Requests are granted based on space available. This means that siblings are not guaranteed placement. A written decision will be communicated to families before spring break.

Once the request is approved, a student may remain at that middle school throughout his or her middle school career, as long as the student resides in District 303.

Families of students granted permission to attend a school outside of their assigned attendance area are responsible for their own transportation.

Students will return to their assigned attendance area high school regardless of the middle school attended.

The Middle School Transfer request window will close at 4:00pm on February 26, 2021.

If you have questions, please contact Tammy Marsan at: 331-228-2397.
