what is a Hoaxes?
A hoax is an act of deception which is designed to trick people into believing or doing something. You don’t need the internet to pull a hoax, but it sure help out a lot. Most hoaxes are designed as lighthearted practical jokes. Many people say that hoaxes are embarrassing but usually cause no permanent damage.

Most hoaxes on the internet are made up. On some pictures you can tell when a picture is added in or when it is really in the picture.
Email Hoax
Some scammers use graphics and e-mail addresses to make you believe their e-mail is from a legitimate site. , do not click on their live link, instead use a search engine to find the site.

Most Internet hoaxes are harmless. Like a "fake Twitter account". People will create them and pretend to be some one famous.
