Hobby Family,

Thank you for continuing to send your children to Hobby Middle School. I promise we will get through this together.

I am proud to announce that our first phase of construction is almost complete. Our new restrooms are open and ready for use and some of our Science teachers have started moving into their renovated Science labs.

Northside ISD has partnered with area health providers to host a free COVID -19 Vaccine clinic here at Hobby Middle School. Vaccines will be available to employees and their spouses, students of Northside ISD, and all family members ages 5 and older . The Vaccine Clinic will be held Monday January 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Hobby MS, Cafeteria – 11843 Vance Jackson Rd. 78230 . Please make an appointment at this link Provider is HEB .

Semester Exam Spring update:

Due to the surge in Covid cases, we are delaying the 'attendance' criteria for the second semester exam exemption policy. A start date will be determined in the future and will be communicated with plenty of notice. Please note only the 'attendance' criteria is being delayed.

Thank you for your support. Please stay safe and healthy.

Attendance Recovery emails went out this week. Please encourage students to attend recovery if they received an email. Deadline is January 28th.

Notes from the Nurse

Beginning January 18th, the City of San Antonio will offer no cost COVID-19 testing 7 days a week, from 7am to 5pm until February 4th at the Alamodome. To register for an appointment, visit https://www.doineedacovid19test.com/SanAntonio_TX_14602.html

Counselor's Corner

On Tuesday, January 18th, the Clark HS counselors met with 8th grade students and completed their course requests for highschool. If your son/daughter has not been on campus to complete this please ensure that you reach out to their counselor ASAP as the window for entry closes FRIDAY 1/28/22.

ALL 6th and 7th grade students received their planning guides to select their courses on Tuesday 1/19/22 and the deadline for course request entry is Wednesday 1/26/22, if your son/daughter has not completed theirs please reach out to their HOBBY counselor before next WEDNESDAY.
