MPC Youth
A Weekly Newsletter
Thought for the Week
As of 4:21AM on Wednesday morning, at the moment of the autumnal equinox, we officially entered fall. Fall brings the "real" start of school, cooler weather, sweaters, football season, and pumpkin flavored everything.
We begin a "new year" in the fall as we make plans and resolutions to do things differently this school year. We make a conscious effort to be diligent in school, finish homework early, work a little harder at practice, and maybe pick up an extra shift at work. We want to make a good impression and get into a good routine as we start the year.
As you build up your new routine and get settled into the rhythm of this busy fall season, I encourage you to make time for your church family. If you haven't already, you will find that it is hard to balance everything you want to do. Life truly is a balancing act. The trick is finding those people who will help you stay steady and I know you will find that support here at MPC.
We welcome everyone: those who are here often, new faces, distant friends, and those who are trying to find their way back. Join us, as we begin a new year together.
- Liz
What is this?
Youth Group Survey
We want to know what you think about the youth group! There is a survey linked below where you will be able to provide anonymous feedback about the program. The more information you provide, the more we can tailor programs to your interests - we can't do that if we don't know what you're interested in.
This is just a formal way of obtaining your input - if you have suggestions, questions, or concerns please feel free to contact Liz!
Remind!
Follow the directions below to enroll in the program via text OR email. This will allow us to communicate with the group without sharing phone numbers. Even after you sign up, no one can see your phone number and all text messages will come from the same, secure phone number.
Many of you already have Liz's phone number and it is available for anyone else who wants it - please continue to utilize that when you need her! Remind, however, allows for privacy for everyone when we are communicating with the whole group.
Follow the instructions below for your age group and answer the questions that appear to set up your free account.

Youth Groups of Media Presbyterian Church
The Youth Ministry programs at MPC has long been a place that welcomes teenagers to embrace their questions and their struggles with faith in a healthy and safe environment.
The Youth Program is led by Ms. Liz Remelius, Director of Youth Ministries. Liz nurtures a deep love of education and believes that there is "a divine beauty in learning." She hopes that anyone who participates in MPC's Youth Ministry will be equipped to ask questions, search for answers, and turn that knowledge into action, both in the Church and the world.
