CDC International Travel Recommendations
You might have been exposed to COVID-19 on your travels, whether you traveled by air, land, or sea. You might feel well and not have any symptoms, but you can still be infected and spread the virus to others. For this reason, CDC recommends the following:
ALL Travelers
- Get tested with a COVID-19 viral test 3-5 days after travel.
- Find a U.S. COVID-19 testing location near you
- Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms; isolate and get tested if you develop symptoms.
- Follow all state and local recommendations or requirements after travel.
If You Are NOT Fully Vaccinated
In addition to the recommendations above
· Stay home and self-quarantine for a full 5 days after travel.
_____________________________________________________________________________________
For international travel, according to the CDC, you are considered fully vaccinated:
· 2 weeks (14 days) after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine
· 2 weeks (14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series
· 2 weeks (14 days) after you received the full series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine (not placebo) in a clinical trial
· 2 weeks (14 days) after you received 2 doses of any “mix-and-match” combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines administered at least 17 days apart*

3D Mammography Fundraiser to Benefit MVHS Softball & Baseball!
Mountain View Baseball & Softball are partnering with Advanced Southern Imaging to offer a 3D Mammography fundraiser to help finish off the cost of our new indoor batting facility!
Advanced Southern Imaging will be donating 20% of any billing back to our program, expected to be around $40 per 3D mammogram. This is potentially a life-saving fundraiser for our community.
Insurance pays for this exam at no cost to the patient!
Why Should I get a 3D mammogram?
Female breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the world, 11.7% of all cancer
- Breast cancer detected early means 93% or higher survival rate in the first 5 years
- BC found because of symptoms tends to be more advanced, early detection matters!
Many women missed their mammogram during the pandemic & don’t want to go to the hospital for a screening exam, or haven’t had a mammogram in years…if ever
- We offer Screening mammograms only to healthy women, away from sick patients
- Only 26% of uninsured women have had a mammogram in the past two years
3D technology is the gold standard in mammography compared to 2D mammograms
- 40% less false positives than 2D, 15-30% less call-backs for additional imaging VS 2D
- Think of 2D as a slice of bread, 3D as the whole loaf in many slices. Seeing all the slices instead of one offers many advantages.
Who’s Eligible?
• Women 35-39 covered for one initial baseline
• Must be one year since last mammogram
• Must not be pregnant or breastfeeding
• Patient must provide a primary care MD or OBGYN for results to be sent to
• Must not be experiencing issues with breast/breasts (pain, a lump you can feel, dimpling)
How does it work?
• All billing done by ASi through insurance and all insurances are accepted!
• All studies read by Breast Fellowship Board Certified Radiologists within 72 hours of the exam or receipt of prior images.
• Results will be sent by mail to the patient & faxed to their PCP or OB/GYN
• 20% of the insurance reimbursement or self-pay price will be donated back to Mt. View baseball/softball for the new indoor hitting facility or campaign of your choice
• Mt. View expects to make almost $40 per patient and has a goal of $8,000, or 200 patients
• Mt. View cluster staff, bus drivers, friends & family, parents, anyone can participate
