Who? What? When? Where?
On June 6, 1944, just a few days ago, there was an attack on Dog Green Sector Beach, Omaha Beach. It was a battle between Americans and Germans, when the allies invaded Normandy. In this battle there were 5,000 ships and landing aircraft, 5000 vehicles, 11,000 aircraft. There were more than 2,000 American casualties and more than 4,000 allied troops lost their lives that day.
What would you do??
Think of it this way, what if it was one of your family members out there in the war having to use someone else's body to protect themselves from being shot not knowing if they are going to make it out alive. Having to sleep in the cold and endure the seeing people being shot and blown up, body parts flying. Many of the soldiers are still seeing things from the war after they are done with the war this is called shell shock and I imagine that a lot of people had that after D-day.Would you want your family to go through this because I surely wouldn't.
We all have to think about this war, and battles like these. We do not try and help out and we need to. We have to support our country and our soldiers, and provide aid to help the wounded or sick. Many die from this and we are too busy trying to get our lives set together and not help the brave men who are risking their lives for us and this country. Please pay attention to these battles and and war overall and help out.
