Welcome to OHVA!

Welcome to our NEW families and students joining us! Some of you will begin this Tuesday or some may begin next Monday. We hope that this information will guide you for how to begin with OHVA.

What Now?

Create your Accounts - View the Directions

Attend ONE orientation session online your first day of school, or first week of school, depending on your schedule. These will show in your student's schedule, and are typically offered multiple times your first week. VIEW ORIENTATION INFO

Online Learning Course: Log into the school system to begin the Welcome to Online Learning course. You may begin this before the first day of school if you choose. This course gives you the information for each course for your student and helps you to learn how the school system works.

On the First Day: Log into the school system between 8 and 8:30 to see your student's Class Connect (Events) Schedule. This varies by student, but those live classes are the priority to plan the day. You should see an orientation offered, along with other live classes and lessons to do.

From Dr. Kristin Stewart, Head of School

Dr. Stewart welcomes you to Ohio Virtual Academy's 20th Year!

We're proud to celebrate our 20 Years of Hope with you - our students, our parents and our staff. We're ready to "work hard and together" just like when we first began in 2002. We've grown and we've learned together, and we've made an impact on thousands of students.

Our 20th Year will bring some special celebrations, contests, prizes and an extra dose of HOPE for the possibilities ahead for our school, and for those who are the reason we do what we do everyday - our students.

OHVA Activities

NOTE: F2F (face-to-face) requirements are paused due to the pandemic, but we will have in person activities that follow CDC guidelines and online activities as well!
