Drop Off and Dismissal Reminders
We have been so pleased with the changes made to student drop-off and pick-up this year, with the goal of easing congestion and increasing safety. In order to keep the flow of traffic moving during drop off and dismissal, please continue to follow the traffic pattern and do not pull into loading or unloading zones. In addition, please encourage your bus riding students to get to the buses early. The buses will not be stopping for students who are not on them once they have begun to pull away. Keeping our students safe is always a priority and predictable traffic patterns will help to ensure their safety. Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in making for a smooth drop-off and dismissal.

Transportation Department Updates
Snow Routes are posted on our Transportation Department page and can be found here. When Snow Routes are activated, service will be limited on all routes except for 1, 8, 9, 12, 14, and 18, which will not be affected. For all other routes, please review if your stop will be impacted during an inclement weather event.
After Thanksgiving break, rural routes will service all grade levels together in order to improve the arrival time to our secondary schools. All route changes will be reflected in the Ride 360 app on Tuesday, November 22nd and will take effect on Monday, November 28th. Regardless of whether or not you live in a rural area, check the Ride 360 app because your bus stop time may change. If you do not have the Ride 360 app, you can find directions on how to install the app and register your student(s) at the link below. You will need your student(s) ID number(s) and the birthdate(s) must be entered in the following format MM/DD/YYYY.

ParentVue
ParentVue is a tool that allows you to see your student’s grades and assignments for each class as they are updated in their teachers’ online gradebook. You can download the ParentVue app to your phone or tablet or access it through any web browser.
To access your account, follow these steps:
On the Sherwood School District website, go to the Resources tab at the top
Scroll down to Parent Account Logins
Click on “I am a parent”
Click the yellow “Activate Account” logo
Read through the privacy statement and then enter your first and last name
If you have not received an activation code, you can contact the school’s front office* and we can provide you with one.

It is important to remember that your student’s grades will look different in classes that are using standards-based grading, but all teacher’s grades are a reflection of work they have collected from your student throughout the trimester.
*Front office contacts for activation code: (503)825-5500 or cshotwell@sherwood.k12.or.us
