Three or more staff members from each school attend and learn how to conduct functional behavior assessments and turn these into data-based behavioral intervention plans. Each participant will conduct and score 5 full FBAs and BIPs by the end of the course. Each person will need to bring their own laptop (not shared by 3) to each of the six sessions, USBs will be passed around with files to use during this course. Each computer must have Microsoft Excel loaded and working. Ipads will not work for this data entry.

This year, the focus will be much more focused on validating the data and documenting the function of the behavior through data analysis. Participants must have access to students to collect data and bring data with them to class each month in order to earn professional development points. Every person will share information every month.

You can no longer sign up for this class- This class reached room capacity on October 5, 2015.

FBA to BIP Training for Your School- Crowne Plaza Hotel- OKC

Thursday, Oct. 15th, 8:30am-3:30pm

2945 Northwest Expressway

Oklahoma City, OK

We will be entering data into graphs and sharing each month our progress and our strategies. If you've ever been to Building Behavioral Expertise before, this one will be very different. You will present each month on your successes and barriers and walk away with feedback from the entire group on ideas to bring about the positive behavior change you are seeking in your school. The only session that will be similar will be the first session as Dr. Riffel shares how to collect data and enter it into the program.

Please RSVP on this form and we will reserve a spot for you and your team. Make sure all members sign up. The reason we ask for three members from the school is to help build a behavior support team inside each school. All information shared will be available for participants to bring back and share with entire staff.

Remember, this class is entirely free and is set up to help increase academic achievement for all students through improved behavioral responses from those students whose behaviors impede their own learning or that of others.

You will leave with full working knowledge of functional behavior assessment- behavioral intervention planning- and maintaining behavior with fidelity of implementation.
