Mission Statement

The mission of the SNHS media center is to provide students with resources necessary to become successful independent learners.


Student Data

Because the library collection exists to serve the students, the following data was collected to inform purchasing decisions.



  • Student Survey (First six weeks)
  • Teacher Wish List (First monthly faculty meeting)

Curriculum Ties

Based on student data collected, the following curriculum areas have been identified in collection development priorities.

Because library collections exist to serve the needs of students, they will be marketed in the following ways to ensure that they reach the very learners that they target.
