MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
It has been another great week on the Ranch. Students have begun to settle into a routine. We are pleased to see more students returning to campus this week than last. A significant effort has been made to create a culture of openness, belonging and trust in our classrooms. Teachers are using a variety of strategies to help students make meaningful connections with each other.
On Friday, our ASB hosted a Mix It Up event during our lunch times. Teachers and students met in 8 unique groups each with a different area of interest. Groups included Hiking, Music, Anime, Skateboarding, Athletes, Fashion, Video Games and Reading. Students talked about common interests and made new friends. ASB plans to use this format again targeting different groups.

STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

Employee Of The Week
Mr. Michael Quintana
Michael Quintana has been a fantastic addition to our staff. If you haven’t had a chance to stop by and say hi and get to know him, you should make a point to do so. Micheal has a great sense of humor and loves conversing with anyone about anything. He also enjoys movie quotes from really really old movies from the 80’s and 90’s. He is a graduate of Cal Baptist and Azusa Pacific. He enjoys being outside and staying fit. Make sure to say hi when you see him.
Michael came to us in the middle of the semester from Great Oak and what we asked of him was no easy task. To start at a new school in the middle of the term, learn all the students at SNS, and then put them on a path for success and graduation in a small amount of time. Mr. Quintana not only did what we asked, but he also agreed to add all of the Juniors from RVHS to his responsibility. He made the transition look seamless. In his short time here he has accomplished everything we have thrown at him and more. He has been killing it this week with all of the resolutions changes and new incoming students. Thank you Michael for your hard work and dedication to the students. You are the employee of the week.
