MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Get your tissue ready! Teachers and staff are difference makers in the lives of ALL the students we encounter everyday.
Message from the Boss...
Well... the assembly did not go as smoothly as I wanted, but it is a work in progress. If you have any suggestions or ideas please feel free to share. I will be working on a better speaker system and the Advisory signs will be placed in the gym before any student walks into the gym.
What was extremely satisfying:
- The look on students and teachers faces.
- The attendance for parents was impressive.
- Wonderful stories about teachers calling parents to let them know! (some have even cried) Proud parent moments!
- Teachers letting me know that students have had smiles all day long!
I have placed in mailboxes all the teacher nominations. Though you may not have been selected as the R.E.A.L. Panther Teacher this week you still need to know that you are loved by your students. I hope this makes your day!
Reminders:
- Storm Drill Wednesday, September 28th at 10:15. Be sure to go over procedures before Wednesday.
- I will be sending out information about the decisions made by the RTI Team (Sprint Committee) The Team had a great meeting Thursday and are looking forward to being there for our fellow co-workers.
- R.E.A.L. Friends wee is October 3rd-7th. Book Fair will be open. Have current work displayed in the hallways for our R.E.A.L. Friends to see and enjoy.
- SPIRIT Week- October 10th-14th:
Tuesday-Crazy hair/hat Day
Wednesday-PJ day
Thursday-SuperHero Day
Friday- RED/WHITE spirit day
Have a restful weekend!
Love you,
Casey Hanna
R.E.A.L. Friends Week
We are so happy to announce Middle School South will host R.E.A.L. Friends Week, October 3rd-7th. R.E.A.L. Friends Week is Middle School South's version of Grandparent's Day. This is an opportunity for students to bring that special someone to lunch (Grandparent, Parent, Aunt, Uncle, Special Friend). Middle School South will have student work displayed for R.E.A.L.
