March is National Reading Month
March is National Reading Month and what better way to celebrate than with a virtual book fair!! The Burton Spring Virtual book fair will be held March 15th - March 28th.
Twenty five percent of your sales goes back to Burton in Scholastic Dollars which last fall helped purchase bookshelves and wobble chairs for Burton staff. All orders of twenty five dollars or more will get free shipping. The link for the bookfair is below:

The Burton Book Fair committee asked teachers and staff to set up eWallets. Anyone can contribute to these eWallets and the funds will enable the selected staff member to purchase books for their respective classroom. There is also an eWallet for Rachel Smith who is our new Media Specialist. Due to our inability to participate in the All for Books campaign she will not have the normal funds to purchase books for the library. Any contribution to her eWallet will be used for books in the Media Center. There is no obligation to contribute, however any contribution would be greatly appreciated. The list of teacher eWallet links went out earlier this week. If you need your teacher's eWallet link please reach out to your room parents.
Please do not try and drop off forgotten items
