Topic Talks:
Week 9
Workers in the Community
The children have been busily painting their favourite community worker. One of the best paintings and choices has been of a 'spy'. This week the children can talk about the worker they have painted and discuss their importance to the community. I'll send photos of the paintings in next week's newsletter. "A spy helps the government by keeping us safe", from Amelie.
Week 10
Weather: My favourite season
What is your favourite season? Why is it your favourite?
Last week's photos show Al reading the book 'Stella Luna". The children acted the parts of bats hanging upside down, birds, and the 'owl', Andie. Jordan and Candice taught the children basketball skills.
