Hello Parents!
I hope that everyone has had a restful weekend! It was great seeing everyone that was able to attend the Read A Thon Class Party at The Gym at Peachtree. We had a blast! I would like to thank the Cavanaugh Family for facilitating all of our Read A Thon activities! Please review the following updates for this week.

Skills
Phonics: This week's phonics lesson include: Spelling with oi and oy, The Rule vc/cvc/cv, Final Stable Syllable=tion, Digraph ue. there will be a spelling test on Friday, please check your child's red communication folder for spelling words.
Reading: This week, we will focus on sequence of events.
Science/Social Studies/Health: We will be learning about Theodore Roosevelt this week.
IB Theme: How We Express Ourselves is our IB unit. We will be focusing on how historical figures expressed their ideas, feelings, and beliefs to create change.
Writing/Grammar: This week we will be writing an opinion piece about Lewis and Clark's contribution.
