Summer is Here!
Glendale USD - Early Education & Extended Learning Programs
Happy Last Day of School!
Dear EEELP Families,
We hope that you and your families are well as the Glendale USD 2019-2020 comes to a close. Our programs are also coming to an end, since the majority of our teachers and staff end their school year on June 11. You should have received a message from each EEELP teacher directly and your school's head teacher, bringing closure to this unprecedented year.
For our families who we serve year round through our state subsidized programs (CSPP and CCTR): The 12 month teachers will continue to provide activities and opportunities to connect, please reach out to to us at 818-247-0775 if you have any questions. We are not taking attendance, so please know this is not mandatory but rather an opportunity to stay connected until we return to traditional services.
We ask that you continue to stay connected with us and to visit our website where we post announcements. Our office phone line remains available should you want to speak over the phone and it is (818) 247-0775.
Applications for the 2020-2021 School Year
EEELP has begun accepting applications online at enrolleeelp.gusd.net for before and after school care for self-supporting families for TK-6 grade and RAP for grades 1-8 with the hope that we will be able to offer our typical childcare programs when the school year begins in August. Spaces fill quickly, so please submit your child's application soon so that we can meet your childcare needs in anticipation of safety restrictions being lifted for the 2020-2021 school year.
Preschool enrollment is done online in one of two ways. Families looking for state subsidized services fill out an application on KinderWait, which is then followed up by a phone call for an enrollment appointment with an Intake specialist. The link for KinderWait is on our website. Self-supporting preschool applications are accepted at enrolleeelp.gusd.net. Parents fill out the application and then receive follow up contact from that preschool's Head Teacher once traditional programs resume. Children need to be 3 years old by September 1 of the school year they would be starting preschool, but we accept applications well before that age.
Should you need assistance with your online application, please email the Program Supervisor for the school your child will be attending in the coming year. Please include your name, your child's name, the school's name, and the name of the program you need help in applying for. You may also call the EEELP Main Office at 818-247-0775.
Program Supervisor information can be found by clicking here.
