Definition

Cyber bullying is the use of electronic communication to bully a person usually by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature

Prevention

+ Know that it's not your fault

+ Don't respond or retaliate

+ Save the evidence

+ Tell the Person to stop

+ If someone you know i being bullied, Take action

+ Protect your accounts

Statistics

+ Nearly 43% of kids have been bullied online. 1 in 4 has had it happen more than once.

+ 1 in 4 children have had it happen to them more than once.

+ Only 1 in 10 victims will inform a parent or trusted adult about their online abuse

Reporting

+ Tell the person to stop and if they don't tell a parent or a trusted adult

+ Report the evidence to law enforcement
