Snack donations are needed for our 300+ juniors who are taking the ACT test on February 20th! Per state guidelines, students are not allowed to bring their own drink/snack into the testing room, so we would like to be able to give them something to fuel their brain during their scheduled break!
Donations should be nonperishable, store-bought, single-serve snacks in their original packaging. Please bring all donations to BHS by Friday, February 15th. It's a long day of testing for these students and any donation you are able to provide will be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Dee Gordon (dgordon@mcssk12.org) or Ms. Suzanne Sullins (ssullins@mcssk12.org).

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
http://www.hsvutil.org/myhsvu…/checkbill/roundup/signup.html
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!

Don't want to take your final exam? Don't miss school! Students are now given the opportunity to exempt their final exam in each of their classes. However, their grades AND their attendance will be the deciding factor. Students should think ahead and plan for the end of the semester - don't miss days you don't have to.
- A student who earns exemption status has the option to take the comprehensive final examination to raise the final grade average for the course.
- The comprehensive final examination grade will count 20% of the student's final grade.
- Absences due to approved school activities will not count against course attendance.

If a student violates the dress code, he/she will be asked to change into appropriate clothing, which may require the student to return home. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher or an administrator. Thank you.
