Seeking Host Families
World Heritage Student Exchange
Explore different cultures--right in the comfort of your own home!
World Heritage is currently welcoming families to host our International high school exchange students for the 2014-15 school year. Students range in age from 15-18 years old and represent many different countries from around the world. Students come with their own medical coverage, provide their own spending money, and are looking forward to being involved in all aspects of family life.
Bingxin "Jimmy" from China
My name is Bingxin and my English name is Jimmy. I am 15 years old now and I have a happy family. There are three members in my family; my mother, my father and me. Although it is a big challenge for me to leave my parents, I think it is a good chance for me to develop myself, to expand my horizon and to let me become more independent and confident. I have many hobbies. I like playing table tennis and badminton. I can also play Weiqi (the game of Go). I also like to play computer games like most teenagers. I hope to learn something more in the United States and I think doing sports is a good way to keep healthy. The United States is the country which I am interested in. America is a free country, it's freedom that attracts me deeply. I want to learn more culture and history of America and I will be very happy to introduce some Chinese culture to you. All in all, I'm deeply grateful that you would like to host me and I'm sure we'll share a happy time together in the coming year. I do hope that I will bring happiness to you all. I can't wait to see you!
We currently have students from France, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Germany, China, Thailand, Japan, Azerbaijan & Russia (to name a few) who are ready to be placed with a host family. World Heritage students are personable, academically selected, conversant in English, bright, curious, excited and ready to learn about America by living as part of your family, attending high school and sharing their own culture and language with you.
