A Letter from the Superintendent
Update on Administrative Staffing, September 18, 2018
Dear BCSD Community Member,
This is to inform you of a change in our District-level administrative team. Mr. Angelo Rubbo, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Administrative Services has submitted his resignation effective October 19, 2018. We thank Mr. Rubbo for his service and contributions to Bedford Central and wish him well in future endeavors.
Under my direction, our administrative team is actively planning for this transition, which will include ensuring all fiscal and operational duties and responsibilities of the District continue to be executed in an effective and efficient manner. We are in the process of securing an Interim School Business Official, and planning to engage in a comprehensive search process for a new permanent School Business Official.
This year’s budget represents the second consecutive year of slow, incremental, and sustainable growth. Our Board of Education and I intend to continue on this course of strategic and disciplined budget development and management.
