What are Instructional Rounds?
- A PD opportunity where teachers observe their peers teaching at another site.
- Teachers will be split into small groups of 3-4 with a teacher trained in facilitating peer observation groups.
- Groups will visit classrooms for 10-12 minutes and record trends and patterns.
- The day culminates with a lunchtime debrief to talk about what you can apply to your own teaching practice.
Purpose:
- To observe instructional strategies in a variety of subject areas
- To gain insights about teaching and learning that you can apply in your subject area and classroom.
When & Where?
March 8th at Carlmont High School
Time: 8:15 AM to 1 PM
(Carlmont Teachers may NOT attend this day)
March 20th at Woodside High School
Time: 8:15 AM to 1 PM
(Woodside Teachers may NOT attend this day)
Space will be awarded on first-come-first served basis & sign up deadline is 2/16
