10 End of Year Tech Tips You Can Do
Here are 10 end-of-the-year tech tips that you can easily do before we leave for summer recovery. Let's start fresh in September.
1) Clean out your email. File the emails or delete them.2) Empty your email trash.
3) Clean up your desktop. File those pesky files or send them to the trash.
4) Empty your desktop trash.
5) Clean up your Chrome Extensions. If they haven't been used in a while, remove them from Chrome.
6) Clean up those bookmarks. If they haven't been used in a while, remove them.
7) Create a 2020-2021 folder in your Google Drive. Store those photos or files from this year for easy access in the future.
8) If you have files on your Chromebook, make sure your 'Files' folder is synced to your Google Drive.
9) Take some time and clean out or organize your Drive. DO NOT DELETE files that don't belong to you.

Getting in Compliance
In an effort to get in compliance with New York State's Data Privacy and Security Policy (NYS Ed Law 2D), WCSD has to check and make sure that the sites, software apps, and tools that are utilized at school and with our students are compliant. If there are sites, software apps, and tools that you are using with your students, could you please take a second and fill out the form below to let us know what those sites, software apps, and tools are?
