Shi Huangdi

Help, Help!!! This is one of the 417 scholars that were buried alive by this evil beast. Thankfully he died about 2000 years ago so you don’t need to worry about him. Shi Huangdi was the ruler of the Western states. That wasn’t enough for him so he battled and battled until he finally had his empire. He then formed China. Since he was the first emperor of China he changed his name to Qin Shi Huangdi. Which means first emperor of China. The Qin empire lasted from 22i B.C. to 206 B.C. One of his biggest achievements was the Great Wall of China. He wanted this wall to protect his empire from any invaders. In his short reign he standardized weights and money and even the language. He ended up killing 500k building The Great Wall of China and 700k building his tomb. He wanted everlasting life so he ate this pill that ended up killing him. He wanted to build these Terracotta warriors to protect his tomb and guide him to a everlasting afterlife. Anyone who worked on his tomb was killed so no one would know where he was buried. He was a very powerful but very evil man that will always be remembered for uniting China. Don’t make him mad because he is very mean and has buried about a million people alive. Visit one of the many great sites that he built, which are the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors just to name a few.

The Shang Dynasty

Run the Zhou’s are coming!!! These are the sounds of the Shand people being overthrown by the Zhou. This dynasty lasted about 700 years. The Shang dynasty was found in the Valley of the Yellow River. We know about the Shang dynasty because the Book of Documents, Bamboo Annals, and the Decors of the Grand Historian… They have found the ruins of the Yin which is the last Shang capital. You can visit these ruins and see the tombs of eleven royal people and palaces and even ritual sites. They found weapons and jades and other valuable treasures in the tomb. You can even visit the Anyang site which is the earliest known body of Chinese writing. These writings are contained on turtle shells and bones and contain politics and rituals that the Shang dynasty did. Lastly you should visit the Shang dynasty and learn about the Shang dynasty because it is the oldest known dynasty in Chinese history supported by archaeological evidence. The Shang dynasty was very powerful but did get overtaken by the Zhou. They have so many great places to visit so go and visit these one of a kind archaeological finds.

The Ancient Village called Anhui Province

This Hongcun Ancient Village is about 900 years old. It draws lots of Chinese visitors for only the cost of $16 US dollars. One of its amazing features is that it has a sweet mountain backdrop that is right behind the town. Moon Lake is a big inspiration for art students for decades. There are even reflections of ancient houses that reflect the houses on Moon Lake. 70 kilometers northwest of this ancient city is Huangshan in Anhui Province. I promise you that you do not want to miss this beautiful 900 year old city so you should go visit it today. There might be a surprise or something you didn’t expect!!!

Kaipling Tower's

The attackers are coming!!! This is a watchers at one of the 1,800 towers that are on the lookout for attackers and theft. Since these towers can go up to 500 feet tall they can spot people from a long ways off. They can protect the people in the town. These towers were also displayed for people to think they are wealthy and showed great wealth. Kaipling’s were famous for bringing Islamic, Roman, and Greek. These towers were erected in the 20th century. If you go to this site you might even get to go into these massive towers and see all of these cool artifacts. Be careful if you go to the top of the tower because they are very old so they can FALL!!!

Mount Wuyi

You are walking on one of the many trails that Mount Huangshan offers and you accidentally slip and there are steep cliffs at Mount Huangshani and you go “ahhhhhhhhh” and splat onto the rocky bottom of Mount Huangshan. So be careful if you go there but thankfully they made fences so you don’t fall too. This is a 1,863 meter tall mountain. It is remembered and sought out for its oddly shaped pines, spectacular rock formations, and hot springs and seas of mist and melancholy clouds too. This trip here provides mountains of feelings that rush through your body as soon as you see this majestic mountain. This is a beautiful mountain that is very fun and cool to visit. Do yourself a favor and go to this beautiful place today.

Mt. Wuyi's waterfalls

Mount Wuyi

This beautiful mountain and waterfall is a breathtaking adventure that you will want to go to. There is a two hour, eight kilometer trip that you could take that provides grand views of the water and Mount Wuyi. This mountain stands at 7,080 feet. This is a major landmark in China that attracts many visitors. It has been influential in the East since the 11th century because of its beautifulness. They have about 50 waterfalls that are so spectacular to see. There are a couple of rivers running through the mountain so it is so refreshing to see. It is 14 whole kilometers long so it would be a long one day event but is something that you do not want to miss. This is one of China's best attractions so don't miss this opportunity and go to China's Mount Wuyi.
