South School News
Volume 1: September 2022
What's Happening at South!
- Our 2022-2023 school year is off to a great start! Our classrooms have fostered solid classroom communities through our morning meetings and circles. Students have also learned expectations both in the classroom as well as in the common areas of our school!
Students have been busy taking their fall MAP and FastBridge assessments at the beginning of the school year. These assessments help our teachers meet their students' learning needs. It also helps us identify students for enrichment and intervention learning opportunities.
- Thank you for joining our Parent Information Night last week! We hope that you enjoyed learning about South School as well as your child's classroom and grade level. Here is the link to the Message from the Principal. Classroom teachers also sent their presentations to families after our Parent Information Night. If you need another copy of the presentation for your child's classroom, please reach out to their teacher.
