Antoinette Ukpe is the daughter of Jewel Johnson. She is an active member of the varsity basketball, varsity volleyball, and varsity cheerleading. She intends to purse her degree in psychology eventually working towards a masters. What she likes best about BHS is, "being able to learn in the relaxed school and learn in smaller classes."
Nathaniel Smithey is the son of Samantha Smithey. Nathaniel has worked at Walmart this past year. When he isn't working he likes to travel to places like Colorado and Arkansas to see the sights. He is a member of National Honor Society and was the football equipment manager. He plans on attending the College of the Ozarks and pursue a career in the engineering field. What he likes best about BHS is "the people that go here. They are mostly kind and work hard. The teachers help the students learn in a relaxed environment."

What's FFA/Jr. FFA up to?
2020-2021 Certification Update
Brown certified 6 in ag mechanics, 16 students received their floral certification (MOST EVER)!
Ace Edwards won a buckle at a jackpot and caught a calf at the Houston Calf Scramble.
The FFA banquet will be held Saturday, May 15, at 6pm in the Aux Gym. We will be celebrating 91 years, have Morgan Hopson, Bonham FFA Alumn, and NAA Champion Auctioneer to do a portion of the auction. Nolan Norris, BHS FFA advisor from 1971-2002 will be presented the Legends award.
Many animals are being purchased and moved into the project center. We are looking forward to a blue ribbon year.
Ag Mechanics students have been working hard to complete several projects for community members, upcoming auctions, and end-of-year cleanup. Principles classes have built birdhouses and assisted with floral boxes for arrangements that will be showcased at the banquet.
Floral design has been extremely busy with events. They have decorated for both male and female sports banquets, prepared arrangements for Evans teacher appreciation, and are currently working on last-minute projects.
