Rockin' in Pre K 3 ELECTION EDITION
Week of Nov. 5-9, 2018
Show and Tell Was A Big Success!
Every Friday our class will participate in Show and Tell. Your child can pick one special toy, book, or artifact from home to bring in.
Please have your child practice at home what they plan to say about their Show and Tell item when they are explaining it at school. Examples of what to say can be: how long the item has been in the family, who gave the Show and Tell item to your child and why it is special, and a description of what the item looks like, feels like, or is used for.
Thank you in advance for working with your child so that they can feel comfortable talking to the class about their special Show and Tell item!
Curriculum Corner
In Language and Literacy we will be comparing and describing things from the past to the present day: (For example, use of a landline telephone with a cell phone, etc.)
To help the children understand a bit about voting, we at Sunrise will be hosting our own mock election with SMORES and ICE CREAM on the ballots. Children will vote for their FAVORITE choice today Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. Stay tuned for the results!
Remember that on TUESDAY Nov. 6, 2018 (TOMORROW) the Sunrise Kids Learning Center Will Be Closed for Election Day.
