PRE-SENIOR MEETING CLASS OF 2023 (Current Juniors): ASB is hosting a "Pre-Senior Meeting" for the Class of 2023, next Wednesday morning, May 18 at 8:45am. It will be in the auditorium during the banking time frame. Please encourage your current Juniors to attend - we have lots to share so they can start their Senior year right. Counselors will be sharing valuable information, and those in attendance will get to vote on some important senior-stuff: Grad Night Location; Senior T-Shirt Designs; Homecoming Details; and more... MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Falcons! May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Be involved and participate in upcoming events to learn more about self-care and mental health. PROM TICKETS: CVHS Prom will be held at the Wallis Annenberg Performing Arts Center, Wallis Annenberg Building, 700 State Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90007. Prom Tickets go on sale Monday, May 2, 2022 through May 25th. Price is $115 with ASB and $125 without ASB and for Guest ticket. Price includes Prom Plus After Party at Crescenta Canada YMCA, beginning at 11:00 pm. Tickets sales: Cash or Credit Cards only at the student store and Credit cards only online. GUEST PASS: Guest Passes can be picked up in the AP office beginning May 2, and are due in the AP office by Monday, May 24, 2022.

FOOTHILL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT is pleased to announce the 2022 "Water is Life" Student Art Contest. This is a fun educational project that serves to inspire student creativity while considering the stewardship of our previous water resources. The theme of the 2022 digital student art contest is "Water is Life." CVHS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Please check out several opportunities for parents to get involved and volunteer at Crescenta Valley High School. There are lots of volunteering positions throughout the year. Remember all volunteers must be vaccinated or provide a negative Covid 19 test within 48 hours of volunteering and masks must be worn. If you are interested please fill out the VOLUNTEER FORM and follow the instructions on returning it.

CVHS CLASS OF 2022 – GRADUATION INFORMATION UPDATE: Graduation will be held on June 13, 2022, at Osborne Field (CVHS Football Field), at 5:30 pm. See above for Handicapped parking information requests and special seating requests. All gates open for seating 4:00 pm.


RESERVED HANDICAP PARKING: Handicap Reserved Parking is now all full for Graduation and no further requests are being accepted. If you need, you may drop your loved one off near the entrance and then park.


GRADUATION TICKETS: Each student will be allotted 6 graduation tickets, which will be handed out on June 13th AT GRADUATION REHEARSAL. Beginning Monday, May 16th through Thursday, June 2nd, each student will be allowed to purchase an additional FIVE (5) tickets at $12.00 each, cash only, at the student store. These additional tickets will also be handed out at Graduation Rehearsal.


REQUEST FORM FOR SPECIAL NEEDS/HANDICAPPED PARKING AT CVHS GRADUATION 2022: Please use the above form to request ONE SPOT PER FAMILY, to park in our CVHS Lot A for the CVHS graduation on Monday, June 13th. You will be able to come to the lot as early as 3:45pm, with the verified parking pass given to your graduate at the AP office. Parking Spots are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. Spots are limited and will be assigned until filled. RESERVED PARKING


REQUEST FOR SPECIAL NEEDS/HANDICAPPED SEATING AT GRADUATION: Please use the above form to request up to two seats in a special needs/handicapped reserved seating area at the graduation ceremony. Limit two seats per family. You will need to check in the security to enter the seating area. Only two seats per family. No Exceptions or Additions Allowed. CV-YAF: The Crescenta Valley Young Americans for Freedom chapter is a club here on campus to help students understand and promote conservative ideas on campus and in the surrounding community. They meet the second Thursday of every month, at lunch, in Room 7207. The next meeting with be May 12. You can keep in touch with activities and events by texting @cvyaf to 81010.


CV AUTOMOTIVE: At CV we have a brand new automotive club where car enthusiasts can come together and talk about cars. We’ll be mostly discussing how a car is put into production ranging from the invention and design to the engineering and manufacturing processes. In addition to that, we’ll also watch popular races and play car trivia games. We’re open to member suggestions on what else we should discuss during the year. The Trotter Project – is an organization committed to offering mentorships and scholarships for youth interested in agriculture, culinary arts, baking/pastry and/or hospitality management. Interested students must have a min. 2.5 GPA, be a high school senior and be attending a U.S. college/university in the fall. PB&J Scholarship Program – is awarding a $1000 scholarship to a student who has experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed. This scholarship has NO GPA requirement. Applicants are evaluated based on their essay and letters of recommendation. Eligible candidates can be attending either a 2-yr or a 4-yr college in the fall.
