Hello Mill Valley Families,

Thank you to all of our families that completed the Student Directory survey. We are compiling all of the information and will be sharing the 2019-2020 Mill Valley Student Directory with our families via email on October 18th.

Fall is upon us, and we have so many great things to look forward to this month!

  • Our fist ever GLOW Run & Gala - Oct. 25th
  • All School Halloween Parade - Oct. 31st

If you haven't done so already, please note students do not have school on Friday, October 18th. Our teachers will be busy at their professional development day.

Stuff the Staff

We are looking for families or businesses who are willing to donate meals for our staff during conferences. The nights get long for our awesome staff when meeting with all the Mill Valley families. Every year we fill their bellies with meals from your donations. Please consider helping to Stuff the Staff!

Let's GLOW Run & Gala - October 25th!

Registration and the donation drive are now OPEN for our first “LET’S GLOW” RUN & GALA! It promises to not only be the BIGGEST and BEST event of the year but is also our main fundraiser to support all the fun activities we get to do for the students and staff at Mill Valley.

Thank you to all the families that have shared our online donation/registration via Eventbrite. We realize that you can’t view the online donations that have been submitted on your student’s behalf and many of you would like to see how much your student has raised. Please email the MV PTO at for an up to date total at any time and we will happily provide your student’s latest total amount!

Halloween Parade at Mill Valley

Join us on Thursday, October 31st for our Halloween Parade at Mill Valley. Families are welcome to meet in the gymnasium, entering through door #12. Doors will open at 2:15pm. The parade will start at 2:30pm. Please do not go to the classroom. Students will parade through the hallways and end in the gym for everyone to see their costumes. Your student's teacher will communicate specifics about classroom parties and if they are in need of parent volunteers.

Reminders about costumes:

  • No scary or violent costumes
  • No weapons
  • No make-up or colored hair
  • Please bring costumes to change into before the parade (do not wear costumes to school)

Save the Date for the Spooktacular event on Saturday, October 26 from 9:30am-1:00pm. This event is hosted by the Muskego High School Student Council and will take place at MHS in the cafeteria, please enter in door #16 by the Salentine gym. Admission is FREE, but they will be accepting cash donations at the door. Kids of all ages are invited to come in their Halloween costumes to play games, make crafts, and get their faces painted. Macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets, fruit cups, chips, beverages, and desserts will be served. Bring your cameras for the photo stations and bucket/bags for trick-or-treating!
