All Call for SALT Volunteers!

All call for volunteers for SALT day of Service this coming Friday, April 1st! This is a wonderful opportunity to get Time and Talent Hours! Please consider driving for your child’s field trip or helping with our popcorn and lemonade gathering. We need volunteers from 12:45-3:00 to help prepare, distribute, and clean up. If interested please contact Brigitte Silvernail at 9187062815.

Safe Environment Required to Volunteer With Students

This is REQUIRED for any adult who intends to drive or volunteer for our April 1st SALT Day of Service. Do not delay as it takes some time to complete the background checks.

ALL ARCHDIOCESAN/PARISH/SCHOOL EMPLOYEES & ADULT VOLUNTEERS who have contact with minors or vulnerable adults must complete the new online Safe & Sacred Training (2020) including a background check. Until all steps have been completed in the online training portal, employees and volunteers may not serve at the parish/school or organization. Please contact CSSE’s Safe Environment Facilitator, Jennifer Goodrich, to access the Safe & Sacred Training Portal.

Send in Your Outgrown SALT Shirts and Money

Our SALT program is enabled by generosity and fundraisers like the poinsettia sale. That money allows us to help with SALT service projects and ensure that every student and staff member has a SALT shirt to wear on our Day of Service. If you requested a shirt exchange or replacement, it is imperative that you return your outgrown clean shirts or payment for replacements immediately. This allows the SALT team time to organize and distribute the exchanged shirts AND reserve the money we raised for more service projects instead of replacement shirts. Shirts for exchange should be bagged and labeled with student's full name, then returned to the school office. Checks should be made out to St. Eugene Catholic School. You may also bring cash in a labeled envelope to the school office. Contact Brigitte Silvernail with questions. Replacement shirts cost $10 each.

Eagle Expo

Eagle Expo for PreK-5th grade is on the calendar for Tuesday, April 5th! Please make plans to stop by your child’s classroom in the evening to see what they have been learning this year! More details to follow, including family pizza night in the gym!

Gala Committee Seeking Auction Donations

Do you own or know someone who has a nice little getaway spot? Vacations and experiences have always been big fundraisers for our gala! If you have a vacation home or know someone with a timeshare in a fun area, consider asking them if they would donate a free stay to our auction. Getaway locations can be anywhere!

Or maybe you love to entertain? Consider donating your time and talent to host a gathering. We love creativity, so share your ideas with us! Past gala items include dinners with a special guest or speaker, catering a dinner, providing musical entertainment, game nights, paint nights, whisky tastings, weekends at the lake, and more!

We would also love airline miles, gift cards, event tickets, and experience passes (must be good for a reasonable amount of time after April 22nd). Contact to make your donation! Donations are tax deductible!
