I Love St. Louis School
These pictures were taken this morning while the kindergarten and 6th grade "buddies" were working together. Seeing these students being so kind to each other reminded me to count my blessings. Having the opportunity to be part of St. Louis School is a blessing from God and something I always treasure. These photos are an example of what I get to be part of every day and I wanted to share them with you.

In honor of Catholic Schools Week, The Stitch In Time is having a sale now through February 3 on embroidered St. Louis School glitter sweatshirts. These hoodies are available in both red and black designs, and they are approved to be worn by students all day on those cold winter uniform days. They are also great as the weather warms up a bit, when students with spring fever don’t want to wear their heavy winter coats! Stop by the shop at 25 E. 7th and 8th St. Louis Lady Cards vs Greensburg
Last Thursday night the 7th and 8th grade Lady Cards hosted the Greensburg Lady Pirates. While we came out with a split this round they were two great games.
The 7th grade Lady Cards had a final score of 5-48. Scoring were Ella Smith with 3 and Katie Nobbe with 2pts. We worked all game long defensively and offensively. While some may look at this game as a blow out and loss we looked at this as a learning experience for all and each of us individually took something away from the game.
The 8th grade Lady Cards came out on top with a final score of 32-16. Scoring for us were Faith Tekulve with 11pts, Chelsea Robertson with 9pts, Emma Weberding, Alyssa Wanstrath with 5pts, Lilly Wonnell with 2pts, and Kate Voegele with 1pt. We played a great fast break game. We pushed the ball up the court and got quick points. Our press also led us to points. Nice job ladies! They are now 4-0 for the season great start!

St. Louis 5th Grade Girls Basketball Results
The St. Louis 5th Grade Girls Basketball team took to the floor Monday night against St. Lawrence in Lawrenceburg. They continued to improve and all gave great effort throughout the game, and this time came out on top 18 to 8 improving their record to 1-2. Lucy Abplanalp, Kenzie Maple, and Anna Moore each scored 2 points and Veronica King scored 12 points.
The 5th Grade Lady Cardinals are back in action again Wednesday, January 31 at St. Mary's in North Vernon.
Thanks,
Rob King
SLS 7th and 8th vs South Ripley
Last night St. Louis 7th and 8th Lady Cardinals traveled to South Ripley and wasn't able to pull away with a win tonight. We are in a place that some other teams around are also with injured kids and sick kids. We went out with the best that we could with all considered circumstances. The 7th grade Lady Cards final score was 7-29. Scoring for SLS were Megan Bauer with 4pts, Ryanna Phillips with 2pts, and Katie Nobbe with 1pt.
The 8th grade Lady Cards had a final score of 18-35. Scoring for SLS were Faith Tekulve with 8pts, Emma Weberding with 6pts, and Ava Allen with 4pts. Way to give it your all ladies.
