It's an interesting week at La Ballona!

On Monday, we are all on holiday celebrating our American Hero, Martin Luther King, Jr. A website is posted below providing ideas how children can enjoy a day of service.

On Tuesday, students have no school, as our teachers engage in professional development. We are looking forward to an elementary-wide training on Social Justice Standards.

On Wednesday, It's our typical Wednesday schedule, but the day is not typical at all. It's Inauguration Day where the next president is sworn into the office. NPR's Life Kit piece may help families on this day. Now Is A Good Time To Talk To Kids About Civics

On Thursday, it's a district-wide Kindergarten Information Night for all future Kindergarten students. Remind your friends and family. Info is below.
