Transform 2020? What is that?

We are all asked by Central Office to complete the Transform 2020 Survey. The results of this survey are used by the District to determine our school system's technology needs and to complete the District's Technology Plan required by the Alabama State Department of Education. We need 80% teacher participation and 100% administrator participation. A huge "Thanks" to all those who have completed this survey already. North Alabama Technology Conference 2016: June 21 & 22

We have an amazing technology conference planned this year! See below for details and register today!

Conference highlights:

  • Tony Vincent (from Learning in Hand) - Dynamic Keynote Speaker

  • Janet Park (from Chicago) She will lead Canvas workshops designed especially for K-3 teachers (See her video below)

  • MakerSpace Playground - come learn how to get started with MakerSpace in your school--see students in action, talk to their teachers, opportunity to play, tinker and invent

  • Market Place (think Speed Dating--learn 10 new digital tools for yourself and your classroom in a short amount of time)

  • Exhibit Hall - meet and talk to Vendors of digital products and equipment we currently use--ask the questions you always wanted to ask

  • Lots of Google and Canvas workshops & concurrent sessions for all levels of learning

  • Plus LOTS of other technology workshops and concurrent sessions

  • 12 hours STI PD credit

  • PLU opportunity for Administrators & Teachers with admin certification

  • Lunch is included both days (also includes lots of snacks--including ice cream truck one afternoon)

  • Door Prizes galore!

  • and many more things to come!
