COVID UPDATE--ALTERNATING SCHEDULE PLAN
IF we went to an alternating schedule, here's what it would look like:
- Students with Last Names A-K attend together, while L-Z works remotely.
- Students with Last Names L-Z attend together, while A-K works remotely.
- Wednesdays would be used as a "Virtual E-time"--students are expected to use Wednesdays to catch up, make up, re-take, or get help. Teachers are available for Zoom Meetings, and face-to-face small group sessions.
So, a typical 2-week period would look something like this:
Week 1
Monday: A-K in School, L-Z Remote
Tuesday: L-Z in School, A-K Remote
Wednesday: Virtual E-time (zoom, small groups, make-up, catch up, etc)
Thursday: A-K in School, L-Z Remote
Friday: L-Z in School, A-K Remote
Week 2
Monday: L-Z in School, A-K Remote
Tuesday: A-K in School, L-Z Remote
Wednesday: Virtual E-time (zoom, small groups, make-up, catch up, etc)
Thursday: L-Z in School, A-K Remote
Friday: A-K in School, L-Z Remote

WRESTLING SEASON BEGINS
Our updated Season Schedule can be found on the Diamond Fork Website (dfjhs.nebo.edu/content/diamondback-athletics).
Only parents will be permitted into the matches this season, due to COVID protocols. The wrestling matches will be live streamed on our DFJHS YouTube channel.

UTAH COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO HOST VIRTUAL HOLIDAY EVENT
They have a local motivational speaker planned, virtual escape games, gifts, and prizes. It is for all youth ages 12-18! There is also a Facebook event--called OUTRAGE! Winter Retreat.
AFTERNOON TEACHER HELP TIME
We encourage all our students to make good use of this time! You are welcome to stay after on your own accord, or we may invite you to stay. Either way, we want to help you!

ONLINE MEAL ORDERING FOR AT-HOME LEARNERS
The best way to order school lunch and/or breakfast for students who are not at school is to fill out a survey each day for each student. This includes kindergarten and preschool students, remote learning students of all grades and any students home due to COVID restrictions. You will need to order before 9 a.m. each morning. Meals are only provided on scheduled school days. For special circumstances, you can still call the school to place your order.
This would also be the method of ordering breakfast and lunch if your student is required to stay home for quarantine or for other COVID-19 related schedule adjustments or closures.

By way of reminder, meals can be picked up in the front office between10:15 and 10:30 each morning.
