Principal's Message

Gateway Open House This week, Gateway will host its Open House on Thursday, September 14th. On Monday, you will receive an email with your child's schedule, a map of the school, and a staff directory. You will have the freedom to come and go as you please...Open House style! We will have student council members stationed around the school to assist you and give you a tour. Please bring your child’s schedule with you.

There will be no bell schedule and staff will not hold formal presentations. Open House means an introduction, face-to-face hello, and any syllabus or information the teacher will be providing. If you have more than one child, you will be able to meet everyone and gather information from all of your children's teachers. Please use the staff directory in the email to locate your child's teacher (it may be a different location than where your child’s class is located). In addition to visiting your child's classrooms, I would like to call your attention to areas where we will be highlighting important information.

  • 7:00 Senior College Information

Breakfast / Lunch Cafeteria Prices and Free and Reduced Lunch

This year, there will be a cost associated with breakfast and lunch. Please complete the online application for the FREE AND REDUCED PRICE SCHOOL MEALS. If you were eligible last year, you must complete a form again this year. Lunch PINs were provided for all new incoming graders; all other students should continue to use the same PIN throughout their school career. Please DO NOT share your lunch PIN and make sure you keep this information confidential. If you would like to sign up to pre-pay for your children, you can visit [MySchoolBucks](http://www.mySchoolBucks.com) and register using the "REGISTER FOR A FREE ACCOUNT" link on the upper right side of the page. A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide; simply follow the link included in that email and your registration will be complete. Once you log in, you can add as many students as you'd like by entering each student’s school, their name and student number. For additional information please visit http://educate.myschoolbucks.com or our website for more details. Contact our cafeteria at extension 237 with questions.
