Understanding Digital Threats to Students

This session is designed as an in-depth look at digital dangers for students. Participants will learn how to guide students through reporting online victimization, file a cybertip with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and when/if law enforcement participation is necessary. Topics covered include an apps awareness crash course, basic digital safety, cyberbullying, sexting, enticement, online predators, handling child pornography and liability issues. 1 hour.
