Fine Arts night for combined middle school artists
On Thursday, March 5th, Dodge City Middle School and Comanche middle school worked together to create an evening of art, theater and some movie making. Students and faculty members from both schools had artwork displayed in the library and in the hallways. The theater departments performed, "Mother Goose" the storyteller read some of her stories and iMotion stop action videos were shared. Refreshments were served and students and families were invited to join in the combined celebration of the fine arts.
We would like to thank all of the staff and students that helped to make this such a wonderful evening. The arts are alive and well at Comanche and Dodge City Middle School.
Cardinal Challenge #7
If you narrow your search in Destiny quest by author, what is the name of the first author? Come down to the library and fill out one of the Challenge forms with your answer. Remember that the more you participate, the more chances you have of being a part of the larger prize drawing at the end of the year.
There was a mix up in the last challenge. The question was different in the newsletter than the form so we are giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and giving gifts to those you got either correct. Will Alondra Vale, Jaylen Indiek, Daemian Serna, and Alex Lim come down to the library and get their gift?
