"Yes. This is a farm. Sometimes we get rats. It's okay, Gloria. Just keep the door closed.". This is a quote from CJ's grandmother when Gloria, CJ's mom, is at the grandmothers farm and sees a rat. This tells me that the first setting is on a farm, it also starts us off with some under standing of the grandmothers character and Gloria's character.
My photo story shows the settings in A Dog's Journey. It shows how the settings change from beginning to end. In the beginning the setting is on a farm with a dog (buddy), CJ's grandmother and little baby Clarity June (CJ) (picture 1). The next setting buddy (the dog ) dies and their is a new dog molly who Gloria Doesn't want around of is in CJ's teenaged years with her best friend Trent and her mother Gloria. She gets her own dog (Molly) and has a struggle keeping her. After that the setting changes to New York. CJ lives in an apartment with her dog max and Trent lives not far away in a different apartment in NYC. The next setting they are they are married and live in a small house with their dog (max).
