Eastlake Middle School 2.19.18
There are always great things happening at Eastlake Middle School. We are about to embark on a journey of reflection. We hope you will join school leadership in opportunities to discuss the future of our school and what you would like to see us become. Here are some items to consider:
1. There is no Coffee with the Principal this upcoming Tuesday the 13th. Instead, we ask you to consider attending Carne with Cooke on Monday the 12th at Lolita's Eastlake at 5:00 - 6:00 PM. I want to do several meetings in the community to make it easier for more parents to attend in the future. There will also be a PTSO meeting. I would love your input about what you would like to see next year as well as sharing my vision for the upcoming school year. There are several flyers below from the PTSO.
2. Our visitation from our first Chinese Delegate was a smashing success. So much in fact that we have been asked to host one more mini visitation from Feb. 22-25.
3. There is a wonderful Parent Symposium happening on April 7th that I hope you will consider attending. Please see the flyer below.
4. In early March, I will be asking for parents to give us feedback on our Mission/Vision Statement as well our District Belief Systems (see below). Help us shape the future of Eastlake Middle as we look at our school practices as well as introducing new items such as Character Education.
Tritons in Action!
Celebrating Our District Band Members!
Congrats to our awesome students who will be representing ELM with the District Band. What a great honor!
Our students in Mr. Velasquez and Mr. Winczowski's class used radar to find "turtles" on our campus.
I had a great time visiting Mrs. Taylor as she taught our students how to make video games. I would have loved this class in middle school!
