Warrior News
A Weekly Newsletter for our Warrior Families and Students
February Welcome
While our weather continues to tell us differently, let us be reminded that spring really is just around the corner! Soon the world around us will begin to blossom with a fresh start. Your student can have a fresh start too. This is the perfect time to again have a conversation with your student about the importance of attendance, healthy choices, and opportunities. Research supports the impact good attendance and maintaining healthy student habits. Our partnership in reinforcing these life skills is greatly appreciated. Our goal is that the second half of the 2018-2019 school year is off to a great start for everyone. We look forward to warmer weather and great things ahead of us this spring.
Sincerely,
Mr. Irvine

Parent Satisfaction Survey Results!
Though we are excited about this growth, we are fully committed to continuous improvement and have identified the lowest two items from the survey and set goals as a staff to improve these areas. These areas are “I receive positive messages about my child from the school” and “I regularly receive feedback on how my child is learning”. Our strongest areas included having a clean and well-maintained building and parents are proud to say they have a child in our school.
Our hope is that our efforts in these areas will be noticed over the next year. Based on results from last year, our staff has worked to improve our communication efforts, including positive contacts home. If you have additional suggestions to help us grow in these areas or others, please connect with Mr. Irvine.
